Description

Organised by THE Port Association, hosted by IdeaSquare, CERN with partners from other non-governmental organisations, a three-day problem solving workshop hackathon will be devoted to humanitarian, social and public interest topics. Interdisciplinary teams of selected participants will work together in the fields of: communication - transport - health - science - learning  - culture - data.

Preliminary agenda (The schedule is subject to change):

 

Arrival day, Thursday 13th October:

12:00 - 14:00: Lunch with your coach and team

14:00 - 16:00: Shelter building in front of IdeaSquare/ Indoor activity (in case of rain),

16:00 - 18:15:00 Guided visits to CERN facilities

19:00 - 20:00 Dinner with your coach and team

20:00  - 22:00 Fun activities

Participation is suggested but not mandatory. 

 

Three Days Hackathon:
 

Friday, 14th October: 

08:00: Registration, CERN Reception

08:45: Introduction session, Main Auditorium, CERN

10:00: Let the fun begin, IdeaSquare, CERN



Saturday, 15th October:

12:00: Mid-term review

 

Sunday, 16th October:

18:00-19:30 Final presentations, Globe of Science & Innovation, Meyrin, Switzerland

20:00-21:30 Reception after the Final Presentation: (By Invite only), IdeaSquare, CERN
