Trip to La Vattay
On the "free afternoon", Wednesday January 27, we are planning an outing to La Vattay. La Vattay is a cross-country skiing and snowshoeing resort in the French Jura. The school will provide transportation by bus, with a limited number of places available on a first-come first-served basis. Participants will be responsible for purchasing ski passes and equipement rental. Moreover, every participant should make sure they have proper insurance in case of accident.
More information: We have reserved two buses, which will leave in front of building 33 (the CERN reception) at 13:00 on Wednesday. Note that the lecture schedule on Wednesday is shifted to half an hour earlier (the first lecture starts at 9:00). Return departure from La Vattay is scheduled for 17:00.
