Marco - Andrea is Head of Artificial Intelligence at an AI-based hedge fund in the Zurich area, and was previously at Man AHL. He has a background in particle physics, having worked on supersymmetry searches at the CMS experiment at CERN. He now works on creating quantitative investment strategies by analysing large financial datasets and employing advanced statistical techniques such as machine learning.
Marco - Andrea (who will connect via Vidyo) will illustrate a few important concepts in quantitative finance by walking through the workflow of a simple quantitative trading strategy.
