HEPTech is organising a Hands-on Advanced Training Session on Technology Licensing.
The event targets Technology Transfer Professionals that have had initial training in Intellectual Property and Technology Licensing, or that have experience in working in Technology Transfer for at least 1 year. The session does not target experts, and welcomes all participants to register, but will focus on further developing initial expertise and knowledge using real-life technology transfer situations.
The training will start with a basic refresh session on the anatomy of a license so as to allow for a common understanding of the mechanisms and provisions covered by a technology license. The main session will develop around a real-life case study. It will follow the licensing history of a family of technologies. The participants will address the different licensing challenges met during the lifecycle of the technology case, either individually or in teams. Expert support will be provided by experienced technology transfer professionals who actually worked on the commercialization of the technology. This will allow for constructive discussions and interactive practical learning, that we believe could be of great value to the participants.
