Call for Abstracts

  • Opening day
  • Submission deadline
The second EGEE User Forum will be held on 9-11 May 2007 in Manchester, UK as part of the joint OGF20/EGEE event 7-11 May 2007, and hosted by UK e-Science. It is an important opportunity for innovative applications to establish contacts with EGEE and with other user communities, to plan for the future usage of the EGEE grid infrastructure, to learn about the latest advances, and to discuss the future evolution of grid technology. It also provides an opportunity for dialogue with industrial parties having an interest in EGEE Grid technology.

The programme committee solicits contributions with a focus on the users experience and plans in using the EGEE infrastructure. Important topics will be data access, interactive usage, workload and workflows. Abstracts discussing the experiences from the resource-provider community (as computing centres joining the EGEE infrastructure) are also welcome. We are considering to host a session on grid monitoring. The event programme will provide opportunities for oral presentations, poster sessions and practical demonstrations. There will be substantial periods defined for discussions.

We invite you to prepare the abstract with care following the proposed template (note that the text you will enter following the template will be combined automatically into a single abstract) Note that abstracts must be entered via the EGEE User Forum web pages. Other means of submission (like email) will not be considered

Please note that the template asks you to choose the type of presentation (oral , poster or online demonstration) that you would prefer.

The program committee will review and select submissions for presentation in oral, demo and poster sessions.
