Description
Since about 10 years, some sensitivity claims for the SM Higgs at the Tevatron and Higgs masses below 200 GeV have been presented. Most recently even a preliminary 2 sigma exclusion limit has been distributed by the world media. The BBC published an article (17th of February) about a recent AAAS meeting under the title `Race for God particle heats up'. In this presentation I will describe the "origins and the evolution" of these surprising statements and why a Higgs sensitivity close to nothing remains after a critical analysis of the Tevatron simulations and the existing few fb-1 data analysis.
