Description

CERN was one of the birthplaces of four-dimensional supersymmetry. 50 years elapsed after SUSY inception — a time long enough for a comprehensive review of its impact on high energy physics, quantum field theory, mathematical physics and beyond. In this Colloquium I present a broad picture avoiding too technical aspects and emphasizing the most important achievement and prospects for the future.
