Description

Recent progress of cosmic particle observations has deepened our knowledge on the non-thermal Universe. New data on high-energy cosmic rays, gamma rays, and neutrinos are now available thanks to various experiments, and multi-messenger approaches may give us powerful clues to the long-standing mystery about the origin of extragalactic cosmic rays. In this talk, we discuss physical connections among multi-messenger particles and consider their implications. The fact that energy generation rates of cosmic rays, neutrinos, and gamma rays are comparable might suggest their grand-unified picture.
