This Topical Workshop on low energy beam diagnostics and detectors in storage rings, beam lines and experiments will be hosted by CIVIDEC in Vienna, 15th-17th October 2018.

The event will cover the challenges in the design and operation of advanced detectors and beam instrumentation to optimize the performance of low energy antiproton and ion facilities, with a focus on the AD and ELENA. This research challenges-focused event will combined talks by research leaders, opportunities for early stage researchers to present their work, and panel discussions.
