      DOMA ACCESS

      • Pre-GDB on XCache provided the community with an overall picture about the current XCache “panorama” covering different aspects (41 people attended):
        • Software development: data corruption investigations, checksumming, rucio integration, http ingest
        • XCache exploration for further studies and investigation: Load Generators, co-existence with capabilities
        • Deployment models and deployment scenarios at site/regional level and experiment initiatives
        • Overview of current XCache deployments on several sites for ATLAS and CMS with different approaches conceptually and technically: US, UK, DE and IT
        • Data storage and access studies in support for caching mechanisms
      • The working group is now focused on following the actual deployment scenarios and the results that are resulting from them, many in early phase will get better understnading in Autumn after months of operation.
      • During summer we will concentrate on data simulations (some work done by summer students) and keep the focus also on open discussions that should be addressed soon:
        • Potential Rucio role/integration
        • XCache deployment models and documentation
        • Analysis facilities evolution (IRIS-HEP)
