Debugging some of the performance issue with big help from Andrea Manzi and Michal:
- We likely need to increase the number of TPC processes allowed on each nodes (for Xrootd and DPM)
- Michal will improve the error message to help identify this problem in FTS logs.
Albert was checking the dCache TPC Lite implementation, and perhaps making some minor fixes --- triggered SLAC Xrootd to check and fix a few hidden issues in TPC lite handling.
Albert reported that EOS as destination fails to fetch file from SLAC, OU, RAL and dCache.
- Wei was not able to see the FTS log last week from NYU. Will check again.
Not related to TPC: we are trying to understand how Xrootd client handles X509 proxy when it is renewed. This issue could show up in Xrootd forward proxy or Xcache.
