Review of last week operation & plans for this week 20m

*****  TO BE UPDATED DURING NEXT MEETING ******

      User Reports / Overview :
      ----------------------------------

CO2  Tue 16.4 : strange behaviour of CO2.  (drop of CO2 for a few seconds) -> checked with David and no problems was detected from the supply side. Anyhow the investigation is still ongoing.

Bunker Temperature : 1 degree drift. Linked to the the cooling water maintenance - to be finished end of THIS week. -> normal condition from Monday 06th May

ALICE :  Done ! Gas battery moved out of the EHN1

ATLAS - sTGC :  2 QS1 tested and sent already to bldg.180. 1 QS1 and 1 QS3 to be tested during the week. Today QS3 will be tested and on Monday QS1 will be installed and tested on TUE 14th. After this no other chambers ready to be tested at GIF++. New batch expected in 2 weeks.

ATLAS-MM :  LM1-M3  tested and removed  on Tuesday 07th afternoon and swapped with SM2-M5 as planned.                           SM2-M5 to be tested and swapped with LM1-M4 next week.
Universal trolley to arrive mid May. Tentative to be placed in current CMS-DT location. To be                                 check the cabling and the gas piping.

      EP-DT1:  Fine. Radiating.

EP-DT2 :  Measurement ongoing. Preparing for long ageing test. For today 2h filter scan from 22000 to 2.2 with 2                    access (one before starting and one in the middle of the measurements period)

EcoGas  -  HFO  bottle delivered and changed. Will last ≈ 18days. Starting stability run. Thus, for this type of test                    the filter settings upstream will stay to 22 (for one week) after every source scans or special tests.

CMS-RPC :  Trolley for testing the electronics in order to launch the mass production to be installed next week on                        Wed (T.b.c). ISEC visit requested. Source scan for 2h filter settings 6.9
Gas flow needs to be checked, as we are on the limit. Shared with ATLAS-RPC. Gas flow reduced a                        bit. To be discussed with EP-DT-FS.

CMS-GEM 1&2 :  2 is Happy,  some problem one GEM 1 (crate outside was failing) - will be fixed with arrival of new chamber.  Some delays.

ATLAS-RPC :  BIS  installed yesterday after CMS-DT chambers removed. Access (30min) needed today in order                            to check the setup, because there was not enough time yesterday.

CMS-DT MB 1&2 :  Removed yesterday and installed on the area between GIF++ and CMS-ECAL. Still the cabling to remove. It will be scheduled for the next Wednesdays

LHCb :New position to be checked.

CMS-CSC:  2h source OFF today after CMS-RPC scan

      New Items :
      ==========

Cleaning of DCS and installation of UPS : to be scheduled.

      Ongoing Projects :
      =============

Correction of Irradiator Signals after power cut.
Since installation of UPS, the Irradiator signals UNSAFE after a power cut, independently if the source was ON or OFF at the time. In reality, source will always be in safe position after power cut. Power cycle controls in control room to get correct status.

      PyTIMBER :

Additional values need to be collected/republished ?
              - REMUS  - to be included in GIF Display
              - XTDV - to be included in pytimber only

      • IMPACTS for 2019 5m

Guidelines for filling in IMPACT requests

List of active IMPACT declarations : https://impact.cern.ch/impact/secure/activities/accessPoint/YDALC02-PPE154

General Guideline : One IMPACT per setup.

        • two chambers on individual supports -> 2 IMPACT declarations
        • multiple chambers swapped on same or similar support -> one IMPACT declaration
        • basically, if you need two locations, please make two IMPACT declaration (clone)

Each Setup should have IMPACT label attached with number.
Attached documents : CAD file  or  picture.
Review working hours : if your declaration includes the bunker area, please state the number of hours you want to stay INSIDE the bunker only (for RP purposes).

NEW IMPACT needed for 2019 !

Issue with ligth.  Button near access door should enable the light for additional 2h.
We plan to keep the light over the GIF area active in the near future (change by EN-EL needed) -> NOT FEASABLE

        Locked door on Saleve side.
Proposal top remove the cylinder to avoid the guard locking the door during night times.  -> Cylinder HAS BEEN REMOVED
