Description

In this talk I will argue that asymptotic Hodge theory can be used to introduce a classification of Calabi-Yau manifolds and viable flux scalar potentials. This new understanding has numerous physical consequences. For example, it allows us to show the de Sitter swampland conjecture for infinite distance limits and uncovers universal constraints to implement axion monodromy inflation.
