The Nuclear Physics School (NPS) has been annually held for graudates since 2003 by Korean faculy organizers, who are currently working in the nuclear physics field. With support by APCTP from 2007, the NPS was successfully organized and has been contributing to encourage graduates and stimulate their researches during last 10 years.

The NPS targets the professional education for the graduates, especially 1st and 2nd year of the PhD course. It will provide basic nuclear theory on nuclear structure, composition and hydrodynamics and initial conditions for the nucleus formation from the quarks and gluons as well, and experimental researches on low, intermediate and high energy nucleii collisions.

In 2013, we invited world-level researchers from US, Canada and Russia to provide current issues and summaried lectures on nuclear structures, which will be focused to the RAON physics, and on high energy nuceii collisions to focus theoretical interpretations of the recent heavy ion collision results. Some of young experimental physicists are also invited to give lectures on experimental approaches on low energy nuclear collisions at RAON.
