CERN openlab IT Challenges Workshop

The CERN openlab is organizing a workshop to define the key IT challenges to be addressed in the coming years in support of the ambitious upgrade schedule of the LHC programme. These challenges will help shape the long-term direction within which collaborations and projects can be established between CERN the openlab commercial partners. Input and participation from other research centres is welcome to define common use cases and collaborate on joint projects.

General Information
The event will take place at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Thoiry. CERN will cover the expenses for the conference venue and meals during the duration of the workshop (Tuesday lunchtime- Wednesday afternoon). The cost of the hotel room will be at each participants' own charge. CERN has made a block booking of hotel rooms and will liaise with the hotel. Please make sure you note in your registration the dates of your stay.

Standard rooms - 91 EUR +16 EUR breakfast. Free wifi is available.

Transport
The Holiday Inn Hotel is located five minutes from CERN, on the French side of the border. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the Geneva airport.
