The ROOT linear algebra package has been invigorated . The hierarchical structure has been improved allowing different flavors of matrices, like dense and symmetric . A fairly complete set of matrix decompositions has been added to support matrix inversions and solving linear equations. The package has been extensively compared to other algorithms for its accuracy and performance. In this poster we will descrive the structure of the package and several benchmarks obtained with typical linear algebra applications.
