Alexander Paul Torres - 2020 Cosmics study
-
GY: How can be the PCA linearity greater than 3? Can you send me the version of the code you are using? APT: Will do.
-
MD: Slide 3: Do you have a cut on the PE? APT: I have a 5PE cut.
-
CM: Do you have any condition that helps you to reject beam data? GY: This is just cosmic from 2020 data taking. We don't have beam data here.
-
CKJ: I would not call it X, Y, Z plots. It is XY, XZ, YZ views.
-
GY: Slide 6: Why the straight line fit (top right plot) should fail? APT&MT: Starting from the centroid and using PCA eigenvectors now. CKJ: Is the default tracking fitting used for the neutron selection? GY&CR&DL: No, it is a function implemented in the code and that we wanted to use for the vertex finding but after some studies we decided NOT to use it.
-
CKJ: Slide 9: From where do you take L_S? APT: From the CERN TB paper. CKJ: 8 cm fibers are not long enough to extract the attenuation.
-
GY: You can increase the statistics you can looking at the boundary layer. You can use them as trigger.
-
EC: I did a quick check on the PCA linearity and it has 1 as upper bound. I think you are using the cluster width. APT: Actually, I am using the first eigeinvalue and not the linearity.
