Description

In recent years a wealth of tetra- and pentaquark candidates have been discovered as products from the decays of B hadrons. Many questions remain about the fundamental structures of these particles. Here we will discuss recent LHCb and CMS results on the production of the X(3872) state and its interactions in the QCD medium. These measurements provide new ways to constrain the properties of this poorly understood hadron and the dynamics of the QCD medium.
