strINgCLUSION panel discussion
On Tuesday after the talks (see the timetable), there will be a panel discussion organized by strINgCLUSION on inclusivity and diversity in the string theory / string pheno community. The panelists are string theorists Silvia Penati and Marika Taylor, and sociologist Meytal Eran Jona. As a participant of this conference, you will automatically get the zoom link to participate. Conference panel discussion
On Wednesday, we have a conference panel discussion to which all registered participants are invited. The discussion will also be held after the scientific talks. We will cover two topics:
- Climate, connectivity and conferences, chaired by Wati Taylor
- Future prospects and string pheno, chaired by Jim Halverson. The panelists are Mirjam Cvetic, Liam McAllister, Fernando Quevedo, Sakura Schafer-Nameki, and Timo Weigand.
The idea is to have a short (10-15 min) introduction, followed by a plenary discussion of the topic. For more details please check the timetable.
Virtual Conference Dinner
To compensate at least partially for the lack of social events, we will be hosting a virtual conference dinner on Thursday in gather town. The idea is to meet in small groups in an informal setting to discuss whatever comes to mind. All registered participants are invited.
