• b) PPS reports
PPS reports were not received from these ROCs: Asia Pacific; Italy; North Europe; Russia; SE Europe, UK/I
• PPS all sites meeting on 8 March, 13:30 UTC (14:30 Swiss local time)
• No issues raised in the ROCs' reports.
• Speaker: Nicholas Thackray (CERN)
• c) Publishing of OS
A push is currently underway to consolidate the publishing of GlueHostOperatingSystemName and GlueHostOperatingSystemRelease.

GStat has for quite some time been checking the situation and the vast majority of sites are publishing correct* values. As we move to a very much more mixed SL3 and SL4 world compliance to the schema becomes more important. It is hoped that the test for published OS might become a critical test for OPS by mid-march. This would cause ticket submission by the COD and also possible inclusion into other VOs FCR lists. * Correct OS publishing is defined by http://goc.grid.sinica.edu.tw/gocwiki/How_to_publish_the_OS_name The test results can be checked by looking at the CE-gs-sclust test within SAM. https://lcg-sam.cern.ch:8443/sam/sam.py. The current status (February 15th) for mis-configured sites is shown below. Please could the ROCs followup with their local sites. One week from now more formal tickets will be sent with GGUS asking for the corrections to be made. My congratulations to the Italian ROC. • e) EGEE issues coming from ROC reports
Reports were not received from these ROCs: AP, SEE (both sent apologies)
Reports were not received from these non-HEP VOs:

1. CE investigates the problem with toplevel BDII overload. Found an inefficient way of querying the BDII by lcg-utils - tikcet created: 18406. SOLUTION: Fix will be available in the next release of lcg-utils/GFAL. (CE ROC)

2. pLease don''t reopen old tickets for new (unrelated) errors: Example of the above is GGUS ticket #17683 which was reopened for different completely unrealted problems. (NE ROC)
