CASST: The Canadian Astro-Particle Physics Summer Student Talk Competition!

Registrations for presenters and abstract submissions are now closed! Feel free to register as a viewer. More information regarding the programme will be forthcoming to registrants.

All summer students who are not currently engaged in graduate studies or have a graduate degree are encouraged to attend. All talks will be 8-10 minutes (+questions). A final programme will be posted following registrations. All talks will be held virtually.

Please self-identify the main focus of your talk as.:

  1. Simulations and Data Analysis
  2. Hardware and Instrumentation
  3. Theory
  4. Engineering
  5. Science Communication and Outreach (including education)

Two competitors will be granted an all-expenses-paid opportunity to present at the 2022 Canadian Association of Physicists (CAP) Congress, the prestigious annual meeting of all Canadian physicists. The 2022 CAP Congress will occur June 6-10 at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.

The competition is co-sponsored by SNOLAB and the McDonald Institute.
