ABCD Chip parameters relevant to simulation
==================
Jan Kaplon presented the impedance model for the input stages of the abcd chip. The original simulation package unfortunately can no longer be run; the package has been updated and the libraries for DMILL are no longer available. Therefore Jan showed the results of a simplification to the circuit which is good enough for our purposes. This shows that while the crosstalk more closely resembles the differential cross talk already used, there are small differences.

Timing treatment in the SCT
==================
Taka Kondo explained the various modes of operation of the abcd: dicriminator edge detection, the three bin timing selection and the data transmission compression level. THere was a fruitful discussion in which Jan Kaplon explained fully the emaning of the edg detect for the discriminator: When edge detect is enabled, any pulse passing threshold in the 25ns time bin will fire the discrimator. With edge detect disabled, only those pulses which pass the discrimator level in coincidence with the 25ns clock edge will fire the discriminator. This explains the observed large difference in noise occupancy between the two modes: edge detect increases the noise occupancy by factor ~ 3

Simulations using an induced charge map
==================
Richard Batley presented the results of simulation comparing the existing Athena simulation with that using the induced charge map from Taka Kondo. The two look remarkably similar
