As recently agreed all coverity reports should be fixed before end of next week.
Could you tell me as soon as possible if you think that you cannot do it?

We have a very large number of intentional(1081) out of 4453 defects.

After inspection, I propose to fix these "intentional" (at least by a factor 3) such that another team running coverity on ROOT will not see bad numbers again. In particular fix the sprintf, strcpy
