- experiment proposal by Samo

 Samo propsoed a series of measuremeents with MC-PMTs (slides attached). The measurements, performed with a digital scope could comprise

• pulse height distribution (single photon …)
• timing distribution using leading edge and constant fraction
• timing resolution vs. number of photons
• observe photoelectron backscatering, charge sharing, ion feedback

All components are available. A NIM crate could be borrowed from CERN pool.   

- outline of lecture

The outline discussed in the last meeting was complemented with the expected number of slides per topic. Information from Yuri and Dieter for G-APD and applications are still missing. It appears that we will end up at about 90 - 100 slides.  

Base on the current outline, all participants are asked to start preparing their slides. Christian will contact Ariella to investigate about a possible School-wide ppt template.

No news. A task list related to the room and infrastructure at CERN has been added to the indico page. Follow-up by Thierry and Christian.  
Preparation of room is advancing well. Refurbishment of walls, floor and wirndows can start soon.
