Irradiation Campaign: Riccardo:
===============================
Heareus and Polymicron samples have been installed in BRANs at Pt1 and Pt5. Thus we have a wide range of fibers and also a variety of different irradiation levels. Congratulations to all the team that worked on this!
 
Proposal: All

Chapter 5 re-written as agreed. Text needs to be gone through carefully.

We are still waiting for pp radiation updates. We will use vertical crossing angle to get a more conservative estimate.
 
UMD group is asking for a waiver for the fabricated equipment overhead and will call Ken Hicks about the question of salary for faculty. We need to push the proposal ASAP since it will take ~ 6 months for the DOE to make a decision.
 
 
News from the groups:

Tim says that UMD irradiations will restart on Friday. They are getting new undergrads to work on this. They should have e-beam every Wednesday for the next year.
 
Zvi commented that they have a new technician, Itay Gelber,  who is close to getting the irradiation campaign at their reactor restarted. For transmission measurements they have now got systematic uncertainties down from 50% to ~5%. They will also look at chemical composition analysis. Shir and Yftach are progressing on beam test analysis.  
UIUC has a lot of work going on for Run 3 RPD construction and preparing publications on BRAN and RPD.
