Overview
(Important note: The SILAFAE Organization has not hired (nor does it plan to do it) any external company or individuals to handle hotel accommodations for any participant of the conference. Please avoid scam attempts.)
HOTEL DANN CARLTON QUITO is the only official hotel of the XIV SILAFAE. It is a luxury hotel located in the most important financial and business district in the capital city, 40 minutes from the Mariscal Sucre airport.
Nearby Points of Interest: Parque La Carolina, Quicentro Mall, El Jardín Mall, Iñaquito Shopping Center, Atahualpa Olympic Stadium.
Transport buses, provided by the organization of the conference, will depart from the Dann Carlton hotel to the campus of the Universidad San Francisco de Quito in the Cumbayá valley every day in the morning and will return in the evening.

Hotel Dann Carlton has prepared very competitive rates for SILAFAE:

*Taxes include 12% VAT, 10% Service and city surcharge of $2.75 per room per night. Note that an additional $1.22 per person per night for hotel insurance could be charged.

Gastronomic offer in the hotel:
- Café Europa: Varied pastries, infusions and à la carte dishes. Hours from Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 21:00.
- Opera Restaurant: Mediterranean Fusion Food. Attention hours from Monday to Sunday from 12:30 to 21:30.
- Liverpool Bar: Cocktails and Dishes to Share. Opening hours from Tuesday to Sunday from 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Room service until 9:30 p.m. Additional value for each service: $2usd (including taxes).
- Luxembourg Cafeteria: Ecuadorian Food and Assisted Buffet.
- Hours may vary according to provisions of the health authorities.

Please make your reservation as soon as possible (but no later than 31 October) by sending an email to: reservas@danncarltonquito.com and recepcion@danncarltonquito.com. Also, please include aayala@usfq.edu.ec in cc.
All reservations, in order to be guaranteed, must include the following:
- Exact date of arrival and departure of guests.
- Type of room requested
- All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card number (number, expiration date and security code)
- It is important to mention the "SILAFAE" event in order to benefit from the special rates above.
Cancellation and No Show Policies:
The Hotel reserves the right to charge a penalty of one night (NO SHOW) for individual reservations that are not canceled with a minimum of 24 hours prior to the arrival of the guests and that are guaranteed by email and a credit card.
