Financial support requests are now closed!
In these rather difficult economic conditions worldwide, the XIV SILAFAE Organization has managed to get the limited support from a few private companies in Ecuador.
Due to the rising costs for travel, part of these funds will be devoted to help a very limited number of students, who will present their work at the conference and may be facing trouble finding the resources to cover for their lodging costs.
Note that no fee waivers are offered as part of this support. It only covers hotel lodging at the Dann Carlton hotel (the official conference hotel) in shared rooms (triple and/or double rooms).
Petitions will be considered in chronological order until 23 September, 2022 and will be gauged case by case.
Requirements
In order to make your request please:
- Make sure to have submitted an abstract for either a parallel talk or a poster presentation and you are tagged as the speaker for the contribution.
- Send an email to aayala@usfq.edu.ec and ecarrera@usfq.edu.ec briefly but clearly explaining the reasons for your request before the deadline of 23 September, 2022. In particular, state whether or not your participation would fully depend on this lodging support.
Announcements
Students, who apply for this financial aid, will be notified by email with the result of their application on September 27, 2022 at the latest. Please send us an urgent email if you did not receive a notification.
If you receive a positive notification, please register to the conference as soon as possible, if you haven't already, pay the corresponding registration fee, and keep in touch with the organization for the final details of this aid.
