Fani presented the status of the arc cell integration (which has evolved compared to the CDR version but not compared to the FCC week in Paris). 

It is proposed to re-evaluate the space reservation dedicated to the different systems, in order to reconsider the possibility to place the collider and the booster on the same horizontal plan while keeping the same tunnel cross section.


Re-evaluation of the encumberment of the water-cooling system should be discussed with Guillermo Peon

The space reservation for survey should be discussed with Mark Jones

The distance between the collider and the booster is driven by the sector valves of the vacuum system.

The height of the beam line was asked around 1 m by Helene from survey, and 1.4 m by Vittorio Parma to fit the RF cavities.

Federico showed slides presenting the FCC outstanding questions presented by Tor in Accelerator Pillar meeting. Federico showed the road map of the Arc Half-Cell Mock-up project and reminded the deliverables. 

Federico divided the project into three work packages, to be in charge of the deliverables.
WP1 Integration
WP2 Design
WP3 Alignment and stability.

 

 

Actions follow up

  1. Re-evaluate space reservation with the component or system owners (Guillermo Peon, Roberto Kersevan, Mark Jones). à Federico and Lucie
