The 19th International Conference on QCD in Extreme Conditions (XQCD 2023) will take place from 26 to 28 of July 2023 at the Department of Physics of the University of Coimbra, Portugal

XQCD is a series of international workshop-style conferences, held annually, which aims at covering recent advances in the theory and phenomenology of QCD under extreme conditions of temperature and/or baryon density, together with related topics.

We will have 6 invited talks and approximately 30 contributed talks covering the topics:

QCD at Finite Temperature and Density
Heavy Ion Collisions Phenomenology
Phase Diagram of Strongly Interacting Matter
Properties of the Quark-Gluon Plasma
Properties of Strongly Interacting Gauge Theories
Machine learning and QFT
QCD in External Fields
Neutron stars

Accompanying the XQCD 2023 will take place the 2023 XQCD PhD school on Extreme Conditions

Invited speakers:

  • Gert Aarts - University of Swansea;
  • Jens O. Andersen - Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU);
  • Raffaele Del Grande - Technical University of Munich;
  • Joseph Kapusta - University of Minnesota;
  • Peter Petreczky - Brookhaven National Laboratory;
  • Isaac Vidaña - INFN Catania.

There will be a fee of 130 € that covers lunches, coffee breaks, and logistics.
A possible reduced early-bird fee will be considered and advertised in the conference webpage.
