The 13th NExT Ph.D. Workshop will be held at Queen Mary University of London, 12-15 June 2023. It will be devoted to new methods to search measure important quantities in the Standard Model and to search for physics beyond-the Standard model and will establish connections with Cosmology and special Relativity.

Lectures:

“Gravitational Waves and Cosmological Phenomenology”, Dr. Mariana Carrillo Gonzalez, Imperial College

"MC Generators and Computational Physics”, Dr. Matthew Lim, University of Sussex

“Neutrino Physics”, Dr Jessica Turner, IPPP Durham

“Flavour Physics (SM and BSM)”, Dr. Marcella Bona, QMUL

"Interpretation of EWK precision measurements", Dr Philip Sommer, CERN

The workshop will feature in addition a Careers panel and a  public engagement lecture.

The workshop is open to NExT Institute staff members, PDRAs and students, any member of the five constituent nodes and all PhD students in the UK.

Accommodation, tuition and catering is free of charge for STFC students and PhD students from NExT institutes.

Topics: Generator and Computational Physics, General Relativity and Cosmology, Flavour Physics, Neutrino Physics, EWK precision measurements
