In this talk, I will discuss two topics about the detection of axions from stellar objects. In the first part, I will talk about the detection of axions from a nearby supernova by using axion helioscopes. In the second part, I will consider the atomic inverse Prinakoff scattering of axions, which is relevant for the detection of solar and supernova axions.
