Description

The QWG workshop is the premier opportunity for experimentalists and theorists to gather to discuss topics related to quarkonium physics. The scientific program will include topics related to heavy quarkonium in particle and nuclear physics as well as those in related fields.

 

 

 

We have already apply for the MEA permission. Please wait till we get this permission using the data provide by you. Once the permission is there, getting conference visa will be faster.

Registration Fees : INR 9200 (Euros 100)

Information

Location

Mohali, officially known as SAS Nagar is a modern city situated next to Chandigarh. 


There are three main ways to reach IISER Mohali.

  • Chandigarh Airport is just 9 km from the IISER Mohali and is well connected from New Delhi. From Airport, one can take pre-paid taxi, take ola or uber.
  • Road: Chandigarh is well connected to New Delhi. There is A/C bus from New Delhi bus stand (Kashmiri Gate) to Chandigarh (Sector 17 Bus Stand or Sector 43 Bus Stand depending upon the bus). One can also prefer Haryana Volvo service (one can do online booking and can get it from Airport PTC for which one need to take airport shuttle free of cost [10 minutes drive] and frequency of <30 minutes). If you are taking bus from Kashmiri Gate, New Delhi InterStateBus Terminal (ISBT), then take New Delhi Airport (you need to first take Airport Line and then change at New Delhi Station for Delhi Metro) or take taxi (bus is also available but may be crowded). Let us know if you need more information, we can add more information (per cases).
  • Rail: Chandigarh is well connected to New Delhi (Shatabadi, Jan-Shatabadi, Vande Bharat are the preferred trains one should take due to their more reliability). Train booking (irctc)

Visa
Valid visa is required to enter India for all nationalities. Visa can be obtained from the nearest Indian Consulate/Embassy to you.
