Nadia Acevedo Murekatete is an artist and creative expression practitioner at CERN. Having evolved in the world of live arts (theater, performance) she now uses protean practices to create intersectional dialogues (writing, performance, sculpture, visual art).
- Summary
The objective of this exhibition is to highlight the place of CERN, a multicultural laboratory that explores the infinitely small, through the identity of physicists and their process of research, language and creation to bring out the unknown.
My project is to create one or more collaborative or interactive works with these physicists after having conducted performance workshops with the physicists who will be willing to participate in the project. The living research supports will become visual (photo/video format based on a performance and exhibition of objects or sculptures).
The idea is to highlight the interconnectivity and emergence of complex systems of the invisible through the sensory and metaphorical. While celebrating the parallel between the creative process, the research work of the invisible and the metaphorical potential to represent a more complex system in a more simplified form.

Nadia Acevedo Murekatete est une artiste et intervenante en expression créative au CERN. Ayant evolué dans l’univers des arts vivants (théâtre, performance) elle utilise désormais des pratiques protéiformes pour créer des dialogues intersectionnels (écriture, performance, sculpture, art visuel ).
- Resumé
L’objectif de cette exposition est de mettre en avant le lieu du CERN, un laboratoire multiculturel qui explore l'infiniment petit, au travers de l’identité des physiciens et de leur processus de recherche, langage et de création pour faire émerger l’inconnu.
Mon projet est de créer une ou des œuvre collaboratives ou interactives avec ces physicien.ne.s après avoir effectué des ateliers de performances avec les physiciens qui voudront bien participer au projet. Les supports de recherches vivants deviendront visuels (format photos / vidéos basé sur une performance et exposition d’objet ou sculptures).
L’idée est de mettre en avant l’interconnectivité et l’emergence de système complexe de l’invisible par le sensoriel et le metaphorique. Tout en celebrant le parallèle entre le processus creatif, le travail de recherche de l’invisible et le potentiel métaphorique à représenter un système plus complexe en une forme plus simplifiée.
