Poster Session
The Poster Session takes place during a long lunch break on Day 1 of the conference in Strathclyde's Technology and Innovation Centre (TIC). A great opportunity to meet with other delegates and sponsors to discuss your projects and perhaps foster some future collaborations.
Civic Reception and Conference Dinner
The Group Prize and Poster Prize winners will be announced at the Conference Dinner.
The conference dinner will be held at the beautiful Glasgow City Chambers, just a short walk from the conference venue. We begin with a Civic Reception at 18:00, courtesy of the Right Honorable Lord Provost of Glasgow and Glasgow City Council. The Civic Reception is followed by the Conference Dinner from 19:00 in the banqueting hall.
Evening Entertainment
After dinner entertainment and socialising will continue at the nearby function room with bar: Committee Room No9. This will include live music performed by Scot Rock in a stunning fusion of contemporary rock, pop and traditional bag pipe music.
Tour of the SCAPA facility
In the afternoon of conference Day 2, delegates have the opportunity to join a guided tour of the University of Strathclyde's SCAPA (Scottish Centre for the Application of Plasma-based Accelerators) facility, where lasers, plasmas and particle-accelerators come together! Tour places are limited, so please indicate your interest during registration.
