Al questions

1.  Do we accept a STAGE request if the token has only storage.read claims?
2.  If not, must all claims in the token be storage.stage to be accepted?
3.  Just like with read or write, where a claim should override any ACLs, I would imagine a stage claim should override any staging restrictions for the user. 

Discussed already in the email thread and agreed on storage.stage behavior (dCache & CTA / EOS)

3. preference to verify just capability (implementation may decide to keep mapping & identity validation, but there should be a way to configure access to look like just capability based)

dCache 8.2 mandatory for ATLAS & CMS transfers with tokens

• WLCG JWT token support already in 7.2, but with different "scitoken" plugin
• uniform token configuration using "oidc" plugin with WLCG JWT profile support comes with 8.2
  • we don't want to deal with two different configurations
• also avoid other troubles with older releases
• current status from WLCG CRIC:
  • 8.2.x - 46% (38 sites)
  • 7.2.x - 37% (30 sites)
  • 6.2.x - 7% (6 sites)
  • 5.2.x - 10% (8 sites)
• dCache developers recommends latest version of stable dCache for token support
  • e.g. 8.2.17 came with important fix, but break behavior for symlinks for SE-tokens issue#7113 fixed in 8.2.21
• when is 7.2 EOL?

CMS site token configuration

• already asking XRootD sites to configure tokens
  • minimal version 5.5.4
  • documentation for sites
