Goal of the forum is to engage together, share experiences, identify the possibilities for partnerships between the Serbian innovation centres and industry partners and CERN Procurement/KT. It shoud also enable partners on both sides to understand the existing obstacles and unlock the potential for improved CERN-Serbia cooperation (through diversification of cooperation, learning from best practices in other CERN member states, etc.).
Invited partners from CERN include representatives from the CERN Knowledge Transfer (KT) and CERN Procurement groups, as well as the CERN Detector/Accelerator representatives. Invited partners from Serbia include the BU Innovation centres and STPs, industry partners with establish cooperation with CERN (UNIOR Components, Servoteh, Comtrade 360, ...), as well as industry partners with interest and potential for cooperation with CERN.
Possibilities for presentations & communication to innovations & industry partners include the exposition stands with branding for presentation of partner's innovation/business areas, keynote presentations of important innovations & industry partners (20'-30'), as well as head-to-head meetings arranged ad-hoc or in advance.
The forum is organised as an associated event to the international conference LHCP 2023 that is taking place in Belgrade from 22th utiol 26th of May 2023. It is organised jointly by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Serbia (PKS), the Faculty of Physics and Institute of Physics in Belgrade, and in cooperation with European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN). Its organisation is supported by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovations of the Republic of Serbia.
