- No particular general news
- We haven't really discussed it this time but we have to arrange discussions with other DRDs. We should discuss at the next meeting.
- Proposal writing
- Roman has added a little bit of text in the introduction
- Track 1 is just at the beginning
- Track 2 is about to revise the resources in particular of the US institutes to bring the proposal in phase with the info that will be input to the P5 process
- Track 3 has presented a nice first ordering of the input-proposal (attached to the agenda). The following points have been discussed
- The R&D topics for SpaCal are those that are funded by the CERN EP budget and not from LHCb project funding
- RADICAL depends on approval by DOE (should come these days)
- The interplay between the R&D items and the transversal activities will have to be clarified
- A list first of Milestones and Deliverables has to be established
- Action items
- Roman will continue to edit Secs. 1 and 6.4
- Gabri will edit Secs. 2 and 6.5
- Christophe will produce a first draft of Sec. 6.3
- Track conveners: Identify those groups from which further clarification might be needed (or seek this clarification proactively)
- All: Thinking about how to present the broad ideas of the proposal to the input-proposal submitters
- Track conveners/All: Thinking about how to fill the Guideline Tables https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1TLDwWyNGHXyD1C75X3S2D9WEFijSKH7u This should also be discussed at the next meeting.
- Roman will technically prepare these tables for the overleaf project.
