Current open issues
 

• Wrong operation time
  • XRootD setting wrong times when sending the UDP stream?
• Shoveler getting stuck
  • This seems to have an impact also on the operation time
• Missing VO information
  • Clear this is XRootD configuration related, how should we go about it
• Wrong file_bytes_at_close?
  • Maybe related to operation time, let's understand that first

Things needed

• New shoveler release to include STOMP certificate communication
  • Probably better to wait until the shoveler getting stuck is understood?
• Write a list of things needed from XRootD monitoring (operation time...)
• Collector update to add a field regarding missing stream (file open or file close)
  • Fabio already provided a PR
  • Borja should deploy new collector version in WLCG cluster
• Shoveler getting stuck (seems related to STOMP implementation):
  • Add more debugging messages
  • Borja will have a look to the stomp implementation
