Over 40 years after its discovery, and almost 30 years after the first CERN workshop on experimental signatures of supersymmetry, we are still desperately seeking SUSY. In this talk the pre-LHC dreams for supersymmetry will be confronted with the LHC reality so far, and the prospects for searches in 2011/12 will be reviewed.
