Prior to the hackathon we expect people to have installed on their laptop the following tools:

• docker
• git
• code editor (e.g. VSCode)
• conda (if you don't just follow the *first code block* of https://dirac.readthedocs.io/en/latest/DeveloperGuide/DevelopmentEnvironment/DeveloperInstallation/editingCode.html#installing-conda)
• Eduroam certificates for people outside CERN
• If not done, have a look at the DiracX introduction slides (https://indico.cern.ch/event/1292287/ and https://indico.cern.ch/event/1297397/)

 

Ideally:

• be aware of python type hints (read https://fastapi.tiangolo.com/python-types/ for example)
• followed the FastAPI tutorial: https://fastapi.tiangolo.com/tutorial/
