The elimination of very-low-level (TFA) metallic radioactive waste towards the French national repositories requires the radiological characterization of waste packages. Such characterization is performed by evaluating the activity of easy-to-measure (ETM) nuclides via in-situ gamma spectrometry, and the activity of difficult -to-measure (DTM) nuclides by means of activity ratios that are estimated either analytically or experimentally. The present work shows a statistical analysis of the ETM activity and IRAS Hazard values between double and quadruple counts carried out on 1.35 m3 metallic and cable waste packages previously analyzed during TFA disposal campaigns of SHERPA (SHEaR Process Assessment TFA Metallic Waste) and ELICA (ELImination of very low-level waste Cables).
