You can find a number of hotels and private accommodation in Schleching itself and its surroundings.
Here most of the accommodations are listed (choose destination Schleching).
Since Schleching and surroundings are a favored holiday region, you are strongly recommended to arrange your accommodation well in advance.
A few pre-bookings have been made through us as stated below.
Please note these are options only and you will be invoiced for your stay directly.
In particular, a number of 20 rooms at a reduced rate have been reserved in "Landgasthof zur Post" in Schleching about 200 m from the meeting site until December 31, 2023. Please state "53 Arbeitstreffen" with your booking. The special rate is only available when you book with the hotel itself (do not use booking sites).
All offered rooms are double rooms. The price is at 84.00 EUR per person/night for single use of the room. If you share room with someone, the price is 94.00 EUR per night for the room
Additionally a few rooms have been reserved at "Rait'ner Wirt" until December 31, 2023, too. This house is approx. 4 km away from the venue and might require a car.
The prices there are 118.00 EUR/128.00 EUR for the nights February 15.-17. and 98.00 EUR/108.00 EUR from February 18 onwards.
A minimum stay of 3 nights is required.
All rooms are double rooms for single use. If you share room, the prices will increase by 20.00 EUR per night.

Furthermore, a holiday apartment has been reserved at "Schusterbauerhof", which is also available until December 31, 2023, with the code "AK53".
The price will depend on the number of guests sharing the apartment and has to be clarified with the landlords, Mrs and Mr Stadler, directly ( schusterbauerhof@online.de ).
Touristic areas like Schleching charge a so-called "Kurtaxe", which is a kind of "sleepover tax" and amounts presently to 1.50 EUR per person per day.
Often Institutes do not reimburse this "Kurtaxe", i.e. if you want to avoid having to pay this yourself, please tell your landlord or hotel that you are here for business "beruflich", then the "Kurtaxe" can be waived.
If you decide to accept to pay the "Kurtaxe" anyway, you will receive the so called "Kurkarte" which allows you to use the busses for free. This might even make sense if you choose an accomodation a little outside Schleching.
Also, the entrance to places of interest, cultural attractions or e.g. publlic baths can be cheaper or even free of charge with the "Kurkarte".
This "Kurkarte" you won't get if you ask for a business waiver of the "Kurtaxe".
