erators (Pythia and Phojet) which were tuned for energies up to that of th
e Tevatron\, appear to be found wanting when extended\n to LHC energies.\n
We have constructed a model that satisfies the theoretical \nrequisites o
f high energy soft interactions\, based on two conjectures: \n(i) the resu
lts of N =4 SYM\, which at present is a unique theory\nthat allows one to
deal with a large coupling constant: and \n(ii) the requirement of matchin
g with high energy QCD.\n In accord with these postulates we assume that t
he soft Pomeron\nintercept is relatively large\, and the slope of the Pome
ron trajectory is equal to zero. We derive analytical formulae that sum bo
th enhanced\n and semi-enhanced diagrams for elastic and diffractive ampli
tudes. \nWe fit the available experimental data\, up to and including the\
nTevatron energies\, and predict the values of cross sections at all energ
ies accessible at the LHC and beyond. \nThe values we obtained are in agre
ement with the measured value of the\ninelastic cross section at 7 TeV pu
blished by the ATLAS collaboration\,\n and the inclusive cross sections me
asured by CMS\, ATLAS and ALICE.\n We compare our results with experimenta
