Description
An ATLAS-UK based tutorial, held in Edinburgh, to concentrate on essential aspects of user analysis tools within the ATLAS software.
Main topics will cover: Finding and accessing data; Writing programs within Athena; Using the GRID.
From this tutorial participants will be able to locate data of interest to them, set up and construct simple Athena-based algorithms, and be able to set up, and interactive with, Grid-based tools for user analysis.
***IMPORTANT***; All participants *must* have applied for, and recieved a Grid certificate. Also, they must have registered to be a member of the ATLAS Virtual Orgainisation (VO).
