Description

Perimeter Institute’s Education and Outreach team has developed a suite of innovative, world-class resources that have been used by millions of students around the world. These resources go take standard science curriculum topics and connect it to the open questions in physics from quantum mechanics to cosmology using a hands-on, collaborative approach. A core piece of our success has been engaging teachers in every step of resource development and offering extensive training through a network of teachers who have attended Perimeter workshops. This presentation will touch on key aspects of our teacher training process and share some insights gathered over 20 years of introducing novel topics into high school physics classrooms.
