Discussion of CNAO Setup

• Experimental room are exactly the same as the treatment rooms

Marco could patch the existing synchrotron

• Extraction lines, no one has a real-time imaging in the extraction beam-line, currently all measurements are destructive
  • might consider replacing existing monitors depending on what we get

Would be easier to do things when Lorenzo gets back

Current place for TV screen for injection (hasn’t been used in the last 15 years) - would need to discuss with operations people

• Almost impossible to install in synchrotron for short period of time - would need to use a picku-up
• Only has 2 or 3 days every four months
