Description

I will discuss the formation of primordial black holes and the generation of an associated stochastic background of gravitational waves, both induced from large curvature fluctuations produced during a transient dissipative period taking place during inflation. I will also present a novel method to compute the primordial spectrum of curvature fluctuations in the presence of dissipation, which is also relevant for other scenarios, such as warm inflation.
