Diamond-II: challenges and novel solutions for upgrading the national synchrotron light facility

This half-day meeting will explore the challenges and novel solutions which have been developed for the Diamond-II project. These design solutions will have synergies with many other areas of accelerator science and engineering, from the latest advances in radio frequency power, vacuum technologies, magnet and lattice design, to the state of the art in beam diagnostics and instrumentation.

This event is organised by the IOP Particle Accelerator and Beams Group. You do not need to be a group member to join the event. 

The event is hybrid. In-person places are available on-site at UKRI-STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.
