The entropy of Hawking Radiation

Description
We discuss recent progress on the information problem. We review the new black hole entropy formula which gives the fine grained or von-Neumann entropy of a black hole. We then use this formula to compute the entropy of Hawking radiation, obtaining a result that is consistent with unitary evolution.
