Past and current run : Zn for ISS and Miniball
- Minor intervention during the week (crystal optimization, dye refill).
- Everything stable on the weekend until Sunday 01/09/24 at 6:30pm.
- Called at 6:30 on sunday as the second step (dye laser) was off.
- After investigation, the power supplier of the pump laser had tripped the fuse in the socket it was plugged in. After restart, the power supplier underwent a series of tiny explosions...
- The pump laser was echanged over the night with the replacement one that was in the CRIS lab. Unfortunately, the humidity in the laser was too high to start the spare laser at that point.
- Fortunately, we found another atomic level from Zn that was close enough to the wavelength for Tm for which one laser was aleady setup. This new scheme was tested and approuved. It gives a bit less than half the yield of the previous one, but this was the only solution at that time.
- The overall intervention took around 5-6h.
- Powercut on the 02/03/24 : everything restarted well, and laser reoptimization was performed on the 03/03/24 over lunchtime.
- In parralel, the spare laser for dye laser pumping has been brought back to optimal humidity. We will work on its realignment and prepare again the better laser scheme this afternoon.
Future run with LIST:
- Installation of the LIST equipment in the HT cage. Everything was working fine (coupling, connection, communication, heating...) until the powercut.
- Checks after the powercut performed on 03/09/24.
